⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely fabulous! We just ate at Honey and Herb in Thousand Oaks, and I can’t say enough good things about this place. I ordered the berry mix waffle on a gluten-free waffle and added the lemon curd—it was AMAZING. The gluten-free waffle itself was delicious, and the berries with the lemon curd were the perfect combination. My eggs were excellent, the bacon was great, and even the little side of fresh fruit was really good. My mom had a regular waffle and especially loved the potatoes—she said they were one of her favorite parts of the meal. They also had wonderful Earl Grey tea. There was a small mix-up between my eggs and my mom’s, but the staff handled it very well and immediately offered to remake them. The service was friendly and attentive. It can be hard to find a breakfast place where the gluten-free option feels just as good as the regular food, and this place absolutely delivered. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. Wonderful food, fast service I am always so happy to find places that make gluten free options, especially with dedicated equipment. The gluten free waffle was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and so light and fluffy. It was delicious. Our food came out very quickly, and staff were very courteous and accomodating. My wife is a notoriously slow eater. But tonight, at Honey and Herb, she finished her food before me for the first time ever. So yeah, this place is delicious, would absolutely recommend. incredible waffles! Gluten-free and vegan at the same time a rare rare thing what to find!! had an amazing waffle with egg and vegetables. Gluten free choices were awesome. Unfortunately, the sides include decadent wonderful Belgium price but they are not gluten-free. This is my new favorite place! Our server, Mikayla, was incredible and so good with my toddler when she was making a happy mess. She even offered to bring a small plate before I could get to asking for one so I could share my food. The gluten free waffles were clearly marked so even though they were so delicious I doubted they were gluten free, I could double check the wooden marker on my meal to reassure myself it was safe! Love, love, love. Place was clean and my kid loves the chalk wall. Oh and that bacon! Soooo good. My mother loved her savory waffles and chicken. And this may be a weird thing to mention but I'm slightly a germaphobe and I know there are others who would like to know this... There was a server in the restroom at the same time as my daughter and I. My daughter was quite messy so I was taking a while to clean her off. The server said not to worry and they'd wash their hands up front. I left the bathroom probably a minute later and saw that she was still washing her hands and she continued to wash for probably another minute. That's so thorough! I loved it. This place is absolutely delicious and the best part is they have BOTH diary free / vegan and gluten free options which I need. I enjoyed their classic vegan and gluten free waffle, I can only eat diary free, with extra bacon and scrambled eggs since I can't eat potatoes and fries since they have a gluten coating. Oscar was amazing, friendly, kind, welcoming and walked me through the menu with detail and enthusiasm. People like Oscar make the world go round and brighten our day. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating and a chalk wall for kids and people of all ages to draw and leave warm notes for all. Definitely will return here again and again as we need more both diary free / vegan and gluten free friendly delicious breakfast, brunch, and lunch places. I love the gluten-free waffles here! They taste just like Belgian waffles! I had the GF waffles with blueberries and vegan whipped cream... Delicious!! The coffee was full bodied and had a rich roasted flavor. My daughter had the chicken and waffles which came with a lovely side salad. The service was impeccable! We felt very well taken care of here. The restaurant has outdoor seating on the patio, which was a lovely place to dine. There are space heaters in case it's cold. Visiting from out of town and we were looking for a place to accommodate a party with several people that had special dietary needs. Took a few minutes to get seated at there was only one server, but once we sat down her service was phenomenal. She took the time to explain how the menu was organized and the differences between the different waffle types for us. Fantastic gluten-free Belgian waffles! Friendly service and a wonderful meal that is quite filling as the waffles come with eggs, meat, and a side (the potatoes came recommended and did not disappoint). Maybe it was luck, but I wouldn't be daunted by their reservation system. I am so glad I found this cute spot! My boss and I were visiting Thousand Oaks for work and found a gluten-free establishment for lunch. After reviewing their website and other reviews, we felt very comfortable about their dietary accomodations (she is wheat intolerant). Let me tell you, the food was amazing and Oscar, our waiter, was so sweet and patient with our order. She ordered the "you had me at burger" and subbed for the gluten free waffle. It came with a skewer to let us know it was indeed gluten free. I ordered the Hass Queen and it was amazing! I cannot express how good it tasted. Their gluten free waffle is so good! Light and crunchy. That butter whipped cream concoction they have is devine! It's nice to have a GF waffle once in a while and feel like you did before celiac . I'm gluten-sensitive and was so happy to find a local place with GF waffles!  I was lucky I was craving something sweet because that helped me choose what to eat.  (SO many savory things on the menu looked SO good!) I had the GF Bananarama waffle (bananas, fresh whipped cream, vanilla pudding and walnuts) and it was to DIE for! My friend had eggs and bacon and the bacon was soooo delicious! (Cherrywood smoked, thick and crisp! Served in a cute little jar.)
