Waffle House in Thousand Oaks

Honey & Herb is an independently owned waffle restaurant in Thousand Oaks. We are not affiliated with the Waffle House restaurant chain.

Our menu is built around six waffle styles: classic Belgian, Liège, savory Belgian, savory brioche, vegan, and gluten-free. They appear in breakfast plates, eggs Benedict, sandwiches, burgers, chicken and waffles, and desserts.

Sweet and Savory Waffles

Traditional waffle plates can be topped with fruit, chocolate, whipped cream, or other additions. Savory waffles become the base for Benedicts, breakfast sandwiches, burgers, fried chicken, avocado, salmon, and other full meals.

Vegan and Gluten-Free Waffles

Vegan and gluten-free waffles are prepared on dedicated waffle irons. Because the kitchen is shared, guests with allergies should tell their server what they need to avoid before ordering.

Verified Really yummy waffles for breakfast, lunch and dessert. Service is good, and restaurant is clean. My daughter's BF had a gluten allergy and was super excited that we found a place with GF waffles!

The whipped cream-topped waffle with strawberries was the perfect amount of sweetness, and the chicken and waffles were some of the best we’ve ever had! Everything was delicious, and we absolutely loved it. We’ll definitely be back!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely fabulous! We just ate at Honey and Herb in Thousand Oaks, and I can’t say enough good things about this place. I ordered the berry mix waffle on a gluten-free waffle and added the lemon curd—it was AMAZING. The gluten-free waffle itself was delicious, and the berries with the lemon curd were the perfect combination. My eggs were excellent, the bacon was great, and even the little side of fresh fruit was really good. My mom had a regular waffle and especially loved the potatoes—she said they were one of her favorite parts of the meal. They also had wonderful Earl Grey tea. There was a small mix-up between my eggs and my mom’s, but the staff handled it very well and immediately offered to remake them. The service was friendly and attentive. It can be hard to find a breakfast place where the gluten-free option feels just as good as the regular food, and this place absolutely delivered. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Verified Yup, another great one. Please come here. I came here twice, and got their churro waffle bites and chicken and waffles. Holy shit, were they good. Not only that, the ambiance was friendly and welcoming, and service was nice. Pretty average price for this type of food. As long as you get the liege waffle, it'll be good. That waffle lives in my dreams. Go eat here. Now.

Verified Great atmosphere and friendly staff. We ordered the chicken and waffles with the smoked salmon Benedict. The waffles, seasoned potatoes and fries were exceptional! Fried chicken can use more seasoning but was tender and moist. We loved the salmon Benedict and had the hollandaise on the side.

Verified My husband has a dairy allergy and we decided to try their vegan waffle. It was impressive. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They are willing to use their vegan options to replace any part of another meal. The vegan waffle was light and fully. The vegan whipped cream was creamy and tasty. All of the food was great. They had an amazing Bloody Mary that was enough for two. We had a great experience.
